Climate communication success criterias:

Check list when you communicate climate and biological diversity arguments. Here are 6 check-points: Seeking, social, support, simple, success history, and signal:

1.Seeking

Seeking lust, care and play – in stead of rage, fear and grief. Seek and create beliefs for hope and love. Seeking towards an attractive goal – and away from a bad situation.

2.Social

We, the people are social. We are many that want social and common solutions. In addition we want to follow our social role models and be part of the winning team. Include and involve is important to create process from safe to include to respect and to trust – in stead of fear culture and atmosphere. Social role, status and inclusion is Maslow’s need need number 3.

3.Support

Support means to help others and contribute. People feel glad when they are helped. And when you help others, you feel better. Wow: Win-win!

4.Simple

Simple means easy to see, understand, do and measure. Make it easy to remember, do, inspire others.

5.Success histories and joy

Be part of the winning team is fun and make you feel proud. Your role and identity is to be part of a creative, positive attractive future, together with your role models. Include is to invite to be part of the winning team.

6.Signal

Signal to others what road you are going. Give positive signals that will trigger and inspire. Your signal spreads like rings in the water. It spreads hope. Such signals are deep, honest and true. Such signals are far better than - signal policy that gives signal only to lure people, for instance greenwash, give a glimpse of a green signal – while the content is old bad and shit.
